Due to bad mental health, issues such as stress, depression, anxiety, hypertension, apathy and even suicidal thoughts may show up.
Not
just external body problems, these modern-lifestyles have given defects to
internal problems as well, such as respiratory, cardiac, neurologic and even
reproductive. So, how can we maintain our overall well-being while leading such
ways of living?
The answer to this lies below. So, Read till the end!
We,
today, are bringing you some routine exercise which you may or may not know.
Maybe possible that you know these, but not their incredible benefits. As they
say, HEALTH IS WEALTH.
So, without any further delay, let’s get started!
#1: An early-morning walk is a blessing for the whole day.
As
they say, Early to bed, early to rise, makes us healthy and wise! But, what
should you do after rising early? Well, an early-morning walk around the town
may be one of the best options. Not just that your body remains fit and healthy
by a walk in the morning, you also get fresh oxygen-rich air in the early
morning which you generally don’t get anytime else.
If we start counting the benefits, the list will be really long. But, long story short, it is scientifically-proven that people who take a walk in the morning feel fresh and energized throughout the day.
#2: Money, my need; Jogging, my love!
If
you are a person who feels lazy while walking, jogging may be the best
alternative for you. With numerous wonders to health including increased
stamina, healthy heart, weight-loss and others, jogging is one of the
most-common routine exercises in the world.
People can be seen jogging around with their friends or with their family members in the early morning. If you can’t go out for jogging, you can opt in for a treadmill. Or, you may also try same place running where you run while being at the same spot. In a nutshell, someone who jogs daily, finds bliss daily.
#3: Love begins at heart, Strength begins at GYM.
When
we say strength begins at gym, we don’t just mean physical health, we are
talking about overall physical, mental and social strength. Everyone knows that working out in a gym, you can make
strong biceps, triceps, chest muscles, shoulder muscles, leg muscles etc, but
only a few know that gym workouts improve our mental muscles also.
About 2400 years ago, Gautam Buddha also stated, “A healthy mind resides only in a healthy body”. Not just this, it is observed that people who gym together, also have a good social connect. So, gym workout ticks all the boxes of what we require from an exercise.
#4: WhatsApp connects me with people, Yoga connects me with God.
The
Sanskrit word ‘Yoga’ literally means joining or connecting. Yoga maybe the most
enjoyable and enlightening way to exercise. There are different yoga
asanas[positions] for different aspects that you want to work on. An early
morning Surya Namaskara can rejuvenate your entire day. A
5-minute Vajrasana practice can boost your metabolism and digestuion
power many folds. A Shirshasana can increase blood flow into your brain,
making it work more efficiently and keeping it healthier.
Fun fact, a one-hour yoga practice burns more calories than a one-hour gym workout. Moreover, there are not any prerequisites for practicing yoga, you just need a yoga mat and you are done with the preparations. Amazing, isn’t it?
#5: The not-so popular, but so effective – Oil Pulling.
If
practiced regularly, Oil pulling is known to cure more than 35 systematic
diseases. The procedure is that when you wake up, take some
sesame/coconut/olive/mustard oil and put it into your mouth. Now, swish that
oil in and around your mouth for about 10-15 minutes and finally spit it out.
This technique is really simple and cures acne, constipation, arthritis, asthma
and many more. This is actually a quick detox method which pulls out all the
toxins present in your body.
The modern-foods that don’t come from the modern nature are very hard for our body to deal and digest. The sandwich that you ate a year ago may be still present as toxins in your stomach. Here comes into the picture oil-pulling. So, if this technique is so easy and effective for the body, why not inculcating it into our daily routine permanently?
#6: The paramount peaceful practice – Meditation.
While
all other exercises focus majorly on physical health, meditation focuses
entirely on our mental well-being. These days, life is really hectic and even
if it is not, meditation can do wonders to your current mental state howsoever
stable or unstable it may be. Meditation not just betters your health but also
better your capability to focus, your patience, your true values and
most-importantly your self-love.
What’s
more, unlike other exercises, meditation can be practiced anytime in the day.
There are several types of meditations which allow you to meditate whether you
are standing or sitting, alone or crowded, working or resting and whether your
eyes are open or closed. Buddha achieved NIRVAnA by meditating only.
Osho in his books have described thousands of benefits and hundreds of types of
meditation. Shiva destroyed Kama[lust] by meditating.
So,
what are you waiting for? Start meditating asap and add it to your daily
routine. You will observe its effects really soon. Meditation literally works
like clockwork.
